ICE-Tech Denmark Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification
ICE-Tech, a global insurance technology partner, has announced that ICE-Tech Denmark has achieved certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for the information security management system supporting its Nordic platform.
The certification follows an independent audit against the latest version of the internationally recognised information security standard and provides clients and prospects with further assurance around how information security risks, controls and responsibilities are managed.
For organisations relying on technology partners to support critical insurance operations and manage sensitive information, the certification provides independent evidence of a structured and continuously improving approach to information security.
Greater Assurance for Clients
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides a recognised framework for managing information security across people, policies, processes and technology.
For clients, this supports:
- Greater confidence during security and supplier due diligence
- Independent validation of the information security management framework
- A structured approach to identifying and managing information security risk
- Clear controls across people, processes and technology
- Ongoing monitoring, review and continuous improvement
The certification gives insurers, MGAs, TPAs and assistance providers additional assurance when evaluating or expanding their use of ICE-Tech’s Nordic platform.
Security Managed as an Ongoing Discipline
At the centre of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an Information Security Management System, or ISMS.
This provides a structured framework for identifying information security risks, implementing appropriate controls, assigning responsibility and continually reviewing how information is protected.
Certification is not a one-off assessment. The framework remains subject to ongoing monitoring and external surveillance audits, helping ensure information security continues to evolve alongside changing risks, client expectations and technology requirements.
A Significant Team Achievement
Achieving certification reflects a substantial coordinated effort across ICE-Tech Denmark, supported by colleagues across the wider Acturis Group.
Teams reviewed and documented processes, assessed information security risks, evidenced controls and prepared the organisation for independent audit.
The achievement recognises the work of colleagues across the business and reinforces the shared responsibility required to maintain strong information security standards.
Cecilia Mangherini, Security and Compliance Officer at ICE-Tech, said: “Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is an important milestone for ICE-Tech Denmark and the Nordic platform.
“Our clients trust us to support critical insurance operations and manage sensitive information. This certification provides independent assurance that information security is managed through a structured framework covering people, policies, processes and technology, with continuous improvement built in.
“It has taken a significant amount of work across ICE-Tech Denmark, with support from colleagues across the wider Acturis Group, and I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved.”
Looking Ahead
ICE-Tech Denmark will continue developing its information security management system through ongoing monitoring, review and external surveillance audits.
The focus remains on strengthening security, resilience and governance as the Nordic platform and its client community continue to evolve.
The certification reinforces ICE-Tech’s wider commitment to providing secure, resilient and well-governed insurance technology that gives clients confidence as they modernise and scale.
